Arvester data at the heart of an academic paper

We gave Karin van Es and Catalina Iordache access to our Vignette tool, and their analysis has now been published.

The article, written by researchers Karin van Es from Utrecht University and Catalina Iordache from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, has just been published in the journal Critical Studies in Television.

This publication draws on our data, and more specifically our Vignette tool and heat maps, to analyse Prime Video's interface and editorial strategy.

This research project originated from a workshop on promoting VOD content, led by our co-founder Grégoire Bideau at Imec-SMIT in Brussels. The aim was to fuel academic debate and spark new conversations on the key issue of discoverability.

We are particularly proud that our data is contributing to academic research, and we invite researchers working on the topic of discoverability to contact us for possible collaborations.
