 that visualises all financing and broadcast obligations in France as they apply to the major audiovisual services operating in the country, among which France Télévisions, Netflix, Canal+ and many others. At a time when the French model is experiencing pushback, we felt it necessary to compile all existing rules into a legible format, if only to get a better sense of what is at stake.

By building Infobligations and making it freely accessible online, our aim was to provide the industry with a comprehensive and neutral reference for the myriad obligations that audiovisual services have to comply with. Our tool is also useful in making comparisons between different services' obligations and the broadcast windows that they get assigned as a result.

We've added a feature to input a custom revenue amount for each service, which allows the user to establish scenarios for how current rules could affect services with different revenue expectations.

For our clients, we propose a fully customisable dashboard, with the ability to create and modify obligations for all services including their own. This allows them to make predictions and test out different scenarios.

This dashboard not only allowed us to showcase the robustness of our data, but it also put a spotlight on the question of discoverability and showed how central it is to the editorial process on VOD.

The dashboard is preceded by an article that introduces the concept of discoverability and brings attention to a few salient examples of high and low discoverability.
